Job Summary
We are looking for an Alliance Delivery and Engagement Administrator to support Basildon and Brentwood Alliance across Basildon, Brentwood, Wickford and Billericay. You will work closely with the Alliance team and partner with local partners and communities to improve local population health within a defined geographical area.
This is a 12‑month fixed term contract.
Interview week of 29 January 2024.
Main Duties
* Assist with the delivery of project plans and workstreams.
* Provide day‑to‑day support to the Alliance team/Business Manager, including diary coordination, event preparation, venue booking, agenda distribution, minute taking, action record keeping and pursuit of updates.
* Prioritise workload across the team and meet deadlines.
* Support the development and completion of workstream plans within the team.
* Work with partners to engage residents and local communities and support engagement at off‑site events.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues and partners at all levels.
* Plan and prioritise workloads and deadlines.
* Work flexibly to accommodate the requirements of the team and services provided to residents.

Salary: £25,147 to £27,596 per year plus London allowance.

Responsibilities
* Responsible for decisions made during duties, seeking guidance and escalating issues where appropriate.
* Assists with delivery of project plans and workstreams as directed by line manager.
* Supervises less experienced team members and demonstrates tasks.
* Monitors one or more budgets and seeks best value for money within own area of work.
* Supports the Alliance team in delivering core ICB functions and national standards (governance, assurance, oversight, performance, quality).
* Understands the connection between large‑scale infrastructure of the ICC and the Alliance to improve resident outcomes.
* Provides day‑to‑day support to the team for allocated work areas/localities.
* Contributes to specific Alliance projects in a defined area, dependent on local needs and priorities.
* Provides admin support to the Alliance based team as required, carrying out standard office and administrative functions, including diary coordination, agenda preparation, minute taking and action log recording.
* Develops working relationships with providers and stakeholders across the wider ICB and Alliance partner organisations to support project delivery.
* Supports the design of solutions for residents and local communities, respecting all cultures.
Person Specification
Qualifications (Essential)
* Diploma level qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant role.
* Additional training or experience supporting the role requirements.
Experience (Essential)
* Extensive administration experience.
* Comprehensive note/minute taking and action log recording.
* Prioritising workload across the team and meeting deadlines.
Knowledge / Understanding (Essential)
* Knowledge of administrative systems and procedures.
* Basic understanding of NHS.
* Understanding of partnership working.
Partnership Working / Leadership Management (Essential)
* Flexible and adaptable to meet deadlines.
* Ability to work as part of a team or independently.
* Ability to work flexibly in order to meet service needs.
Skills (Essential)
* Advanced IT skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
