Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there will be an opportunity to become a Process Engineer in the engineering team.
* Work with the NPI department to ensure new products are introduced efficiently into production
* Ensure optimal equipment performance
* Attend APQP, FMEA, project update meetings as required
* Adopt an error-proofing methodology
* Adopt lean methodologies
* Optimise productivity by designing, implementing and testing new procedures
* Implement training and development programmes for employees
* New equipment installation
* Monitoring project performance to ensure timely delivery
* Liaise proactively and effectively with internal departments, external organisations and stakeholders to ensure projects are adequately resourced and delivered
* Develop solutions with best practice in mind
* Deliver progress reports, proposals, and other required documentation to various departments and stakeholders
* Managing contractors
* Develop and implement an approach to systems and business change management
* Work within budget to ensure projects are appropriately costed, ensuring value for money and that efficiency savings can be realised
* Ensure any improvements and cost savings are highlighted and recorded
* Work in accordance with all relevant legislation, policies & procedures and guidelines
* Preparing documents and progress for Engineering Master tracker
7.30am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 12 midday on Friday.
