Job Description
The Accounts Assistant role will have a wide role including: Accounts Payable
3. Processing invoices, including matching to purchase orders and challenging any discrepancies
4. Administration of contracts on the property management system including liaising with the property management team
5. Resolving contract queries and complete supplier reconciliations where necessary
6. Preparation of payment runs in line with the business procedures
7. Key point of contact for all utility contracts management
Other Finance Areas:
8. Complete client bank reconciliations as required
9. Complete and review Internal Accounts Payable reporting
10. Production and review of Client reporting
11. Responsible for the document management of client year ends
12. Assist with the month end accounts requirement
13. Conducting service charge year end routines and update charging schedules for future invoicing
14. Contribute to finance projects
15. Ensuring compliance with internal and external controls
16. Updating and maintaining accurate information
17. Support the rest of the team/department when necessary
18. To carry out any other reasonable tasks as may be directed to meet the needs of the business
The Successful Applicant
The Accounts Assistant will need to have previous accounts experience with:
19. High level of accuracy and attention to detail
20. Well organised with strong administration skills
21. Computer literate
22. Excellent time management
23. Ability to take initiative and responsibility
What's on Offer
This role is paying between £26,000 and £28,000, this will be 5 days in the office but flexible or part time hours can be agreed.
