Peritoneal Dialysis Nurse – Community & Outpatient Unit
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Peritoneal Dialysis Nurse to join our expanding team. This unique role offers the opportunity to work both in the community and the CAPD outpatient unit, delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care to individuals managing Peritoneal Dialysis as a home‑based therapy.
Key Responsibilities
* Delegate continuing responsibility for the management of the clinical areas in the CAPD unit.
* Provide clinical leadership to the nursing team in the absence of the Unit Manager.
* Lead the nursing team in the provision of safe and effective clinical practice and enhance the patient’s experience.
* Ensure continuity, sharing of ideas and the setting of standards of care.
* Share information and feedback to empower patients and members of the multidisciplinary team.
* Possess fundamental management and facilitation skills to coordinate and supervise staff activity/management, promote multidisciplinary working and foster a supportive learning environment in the absence of the manager.
