Job Title: Insights and Content Lead (Occupational Health)
Salary: £24,000 per annum based on working 3 days per week
Hours per week: 21 hours per week.
Location: At IOSH, we embrace hybrid working because we believe it's the key to achieving work-life balance, strategic success and fostering our collaborative culture. You'll be required to work from our head office in Wigston, Leicester a minimum of 2 days per week. The remainder of your working hours will be undertaken from home.
We also welcome candidates looking to work remotely in a homeworker role.

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Health Practitioner to join our busy team. You would be joining us at an exciting time in our 80 years of history as we modernise and look to the future.
While our current topic themes are focussed on employee wellbeing, technological change in the workplace and social sustainability, our members have expressed a desire to improve their knowledge across the full spectrum of work-related occupational health disease too. This is an opportunity for you to use your experience to write engaging content that will inspire and educate others to improve occupational health management performance. You will use your research ability to create content on emerging trends and the latest good practice in the prevention and control of occupational health diseases. Content will be used for writing articles, blogs, white papers, and web pages. You will contribute to campaigns and support webinar and podcasts too.

About you
We are looking for a qualified occupational health practitioner with experience of working in or advising business on the diagnosis and prognosis of occupational disease. A person with experience of translating technical occupational health information into different forms for a variety of audiences. You will be self-motivated and highly organised with excellent written and communication skills.
Essential criteria
* Level 3 Qualifications minimum in occupational health, public health or related field
* Registration with a relevant professional council or professional certification is desirable
* Can demonstrate specialist knowledge in occupational health
* Capable of evaluating OH challenges and providing recommendations.
* Ability to research and translate information into different formats
* Ability to creatively produce work tailored for different audiences
* Has worked in an occupational health role for at least two years with experience of policy making, procedural development and project work.
* Experience of working closely with safety practitioners would be desirable.
