Kingsgate Medical Practice have an opportunity to recruit a new GP Partner.
We are looking for to expand our practice and add an enthusiastic GP to our established thriving partnership.
With the current increase in investment from the Scottish Government, this is an exciting time for new GP Partners to forge their own ideal work environment and provide optimal patient care. At Kingsgate we are passionate about providing an excellent service and we believe the Partnership model is the most effective way to achieve this.
The ideal candidate will be ambitious, collaborative, and excited about modern general practice, and provide 6 sessions per week including Friday full day with the remaining of sessions negotiable. As partners we take 7 weeks annual leave with additional study leave opportunities.
The team currently consists of 6 GP Partners, 1 Salaried GP and Advanced Nurse Practitioner 2 Practice Nurses and an HCA; we also have a very experienced pharmacist, CPN and Physio, and the practice is run by a fantastic, engaged and proactive management and admin team. Kingsgate is an established training practice, and we enjoy the stimulation of supporting GP Registrars and Medical Students in their professional development.
The practice is a fun, supportive group that encourages doctors to pursue their individual interests, as well as maintaining a good work/life balance. Daily protected breaks and our friendly team mean that our coffee room is often filled with laughter and home-made cakes.
Kingsgate Medical Practice is a modern, well-equipped practice has a patient list size of 8,300, located in Bathgate in the middle of the Central Belt of Scotland - easily commutable from Edinburgh, Glasgow and the surrounding countryside
The Practice building also houses the MDT for the area, including District Nurses, Health Visitors and Midwives, enabling easy communications and good relationships across the medical spectrum.
