A Commercial Infrastructure Solicitor is required to join a major organisation based in the South East on a permanent basis. The Commercial Infrastructure Solicitor will be joining an established in-house legal team and handling a range of work of national significance.
The successful candidate will benefit from flexible working arrangements but must attend the office in the South East at least once a week.
This role is ideal for an individual with proven experience managing and negotiating Private Finance Initiative (PFI) contracts, including performance monitoring, commercial risk assessment, and stakeholder liaison across public and private sectors.
The candidate should have a strong understanding of PFI contract lifecycle management, focusing on contract handback, asset condition assessment, and compliance with financial and legal obligations.
Experience in construction law and/or Public Procurement is advantageous but not essential.
As a Commercial Infrastructure Solicitor, your responsibilities will include:
* Collaborating with the in-house legal team and business units on engineering and construction matters related to large infrastructure projects
* Managing the lifecycle of PFI contracts
* Drafting, negotiating, and finalizing complex commercial contracts
* Providing guidance on public procurement regulations and legal policies
* Handling both contentious and non-contentious legal matters
