Learning Support Assistant – Chelmsford & Surrounding Areas
Full-Time | £13.67 – £15 per hour | Potential to go permanent

We’re on the lookout for a compassionate and committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work one-to-one with a pupil with special educational needs (SEN) in a primary school in the Chelmsford area.

What you'll be doing:
* Supporting a child with SEN, helping them engage with lessons and build their confidence
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to adapt learning and track progress
* Encouraging social interaction, emotional regulation, and independence
* Creating a safe, nurturing learning environment where all pupils feel included
* Helping to manage classroom routines and provide regular feedback to staff and parents

What we’re looking for:
* Experience with SEN pupils (desirable, not essential)
* A caring, patient and positive personality
* Confidence working 1:1 and as part of a team
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
* Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification welcomed - but it’s your approach that matters most
* Bonus points for a great sense of humour and calm under pressure!
