🌟You and your role
We are a very passionate and driven team so adding a new partner to our team, who matches our level of drive and ambition, is key. This role is focused on driving the commercial performance and directly supporting Directors and Leaders from a Finance perspective.
* Collaborate with business unit leaders and functional teams to understand their financial needs and provide support in financial planning, analysis, and decision-making
* Support commercial decision making by ensuring stakeholders have full understanding and ownership of their P&L performance and ROI / ROCE and insight into growth opportunities
* Analyse financial performance, key metrics, and trends to identify areas of opportunity or risk. Provide actionable insights to improve business performance and drive profitability
* Prepare and present financial reports, variance analysis, and KPIs to senior management and other stakeholders. Highlight key insights and recommendations to support decision-making
* Reporting & planning for the P&L, cashflow and balance sheet (where appropriate) for weekly, monthly, rolling and strategic forecasts
* Modelling of strategic investment including appraisal, performance reporting and PIR
* Own and deliver reporting requirements and developments to optimise data lead decision making
* Providing effective commercial procedures, or initiating change, to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered
* Building and maintaining strong partnerships with senior managers and their teams whilst continuously evaluating and improving financial planning and analysis processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness
* Managing 2 direct reports
🌟Key Requirements
An ideal candidate would be at least 3 years post qualified CIMA/ACCA with a demonstrable track record of delivering results
