About the role:

Reporting to Nathan Stewart, Field Operations Brigg, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering new connections, repairs, restoration, reinforcement projects, and customer diversions, all to high standards of customer satisfaction, safety, and within set time, cost, and quality parameters. The role requires availability for standby duties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage projects related to maintenance, restoration, repairs, overhead lines, site safety, or new connections, ensuring high customer expectations and safety standards.
* Plan and execute a variety of projects across multiple work streams, including repairs, maintenance, connections, and resource scheduling.
* Perform reactive and planned fault repairs on overhead and underground networks, addressing issues like complex cable faults, street lighting, and voltage irregularities.
* Manage resources effectively, including direct labor and contractors.
* Communicate effectively with customers, providing advice on safe working practices near cables and overhead lines.
* Provide accurate reports on project progress and status.
* Close out and review projects against business objectives and success criteria.
* Advance operational authorizations and participate in standby rotations as per criteria.
* Mentor and coach trainees within the business.

Qualifications & Experience:
Essential Qualifications:
* ONC / ILM
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Excellent customer service skills
* Knowledge of the distribution network
* Willingness to work towards full LV authorizations, including fault management
Desirable Qualifications:
* HNC Electrical Engineering
* Electrical Trade / Engineering Background
* Advanced knowledge of LV, HV, and EHV networks
* Experience with IT systems like CRM, CRM GO, PMIT, QPID, ISMART
Essential Experience:
* Experience and knowledge of the distribution system, including cables, plant, and overhead lines
* Customer service skills
Desirable Experience:
* Project Management
* Authorised Person – U/G & O/H
* Fault management
Grade: Industrial Level 3 pp 7-12
Salary: £36,929 - £47,541 plus transport provision
