Assistant Property Consultant
Hybrid - Ideally based at our Bournemouth Head Office
Monday - Friday (NO SATURDAYS)
Due to continued success and exceeding everyone’s expectations, McCarthy & Stone Resales are appointing an Assistant Property Consultant who will support the department in achieving/exceeding market appraisals, instructions and sales in line targets.
You will have a varied, challenging and rewarding set of responsibilities including;
* Supporting Property and Field Consultants and the team when required.
* Liaising with vendors and potential purchasers to ensure they fully understand the services offered by McCarthy & Stone Resales and are consistently kept up to date.
* Arranging appointments for viewings, market appraisals, identity checks and viewings.
* Coordinating the valuation process for Field Property Consultants and Homeowners, ensuring all documents are completed and recorded correctly.
* Promoting our services such as conveyancing, removals, refurbishment and part exchange.
* Coordinating all paperwork and arrange Energy Performance Certificates for each instruction.
* Complete financial and identity checks for purchasers to verify their financial status.
* Assist in the negotiation process to ensure we achieve the maximum possible sale price.
* Ensure all correspondence is dealt with appropriately and timely.
* Produce sales letters and documentation as required from sales system or word.
* Assist Property Consultants
* Checking commission invoice payments
About you:
We are looking for a passionate, proactive individual, who has strong communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships, with a can-do attitude – does this sound like you?
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
* Significant experience in customer service, sales and administration roles working to targets and deadlines within a professional environment.
* Background in property, estate agency or housing is an advantage but NOT essential.
* Genuine interest in property and/or retirement property will set your application apart.
* High levels of self-motivation, a proactive approach and a “can-do” attitude.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Strong IT skills with experience using all Microsoft packages.
* Proven ability to support colleagues in a team environment.
* Highly organised with excellent time management.
* Instantly likeable personality!
