Key Account Manager Northampton £40,000/ £45,000 with bonus up to £10k Hybrid (2 days in the field, 3 days office) Permanent Were looking for a Key Account Manager with a solid background in B2B product sales and a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role is ideal for someone with previous commercial sales experience and the ability to manage & develop their own portfolio of customers. Youll need to be a strong communicator who can build rapport, understand client needs, and identify opportunities to grow revenue within each account. The Role: As Key Account Manager, youll be responsible for managing a portfolio of customers, ensuring they receive an exceptional level of service while identifying opportunities to grow revenue. Take a consultative approach to understanding customer requirements and ensure they receive the right products and solutions. Following up on leads, quotations and proposals, and sending product samples Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts. Handling daily enquiries, resolving issues quickly and professionally Booking and attending meetings Working closely with internal departments to ensure smooth delivery. Keeping CRM records up to date and tracking performance metrics. About you: Experienced in account management or B2B sales (ideally product-based) A strong communicator capable of building rapport Commercially aware with a proactive mindset Highly organised and confident managing multiple priorities Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft 365 Additional information: Base salary: £40,000, up to £10,000 bonus, and profit sharing scheme Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm 2 days per week on the road, rest of time in office Northampton NN3 Please note due to high volumes of applications we receive daily only successful candidates will be contacted within 72 hours.
