Instrumentation Technician Excellent salary bonus benefits Alton, Hampshire MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Instrumentation Engineer to carry out routine and reactive maintenance at a busy gas storage facility based in Alton, Hampshire. As an Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for: Carry out planned and corrective maintenance on instrumentation equipment Maintain and fault-find on transmitters, controllers, analysers etc Where possible and available, responding to 24 hour call outs or giving advice on plant breakdowns outside normal working hours Assisting during the installation and commissioning of new plant facilities Working alongside specialist vendor service engineers, to provide assistance as required ensuring equipment servicing proceeds in a timely and efficient manner To be considered for this role you should have: 4-5 years maintenance experience on equipment related to the installed instrument and/or electrical equipment Possess instrument qualification (apprenticeship or NVQ level 3) with a god working knowledge in electrical The ability to work on their own or with others, with the minimum of supervision and to assume overall responsibility for the carrying out of routine and non-routine maintenance tasks Understanding of the oil and gas industry Salary & Benefits Excellent basic salary A generous site bonus based on individual and company performance Call out payments 10% Company pension contribution Annual gym allowance Life assurance 8x salary To apply: If you are interested in this role, please apply via the link below or contact Jordan at MC Technical Recruitment on / for a confidential chat.
