As a Senior Care Assistant, we ask for you to care for our residents like they are your own family, caring for their Physical, Psychological, and Social needs. Assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing, and assisting with meals. You would also be responsible for the medication round and leading the shift. We welcome applications from those with previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant, Care Giver, Homecare Worker, or Community Support Worker. As we provide full training, candidates without senior experience but with a passion for care and a valid qualification are encouraged to apply.

About You:

* Level 3 in Health & Social Care or Care Certificate (training provided, so these are desirable but not essential).
* Previous experience in a Care Home environment is desirable but not essential.
* Experience in leading a team.
* A committed and organized approach.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Flexibility to work shifts.

Other Duties:
* Attend staff meetings.
* Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs of the home, participate in training, and support staff development.
* Understand safeguarding responsibilities, reduce the risk of abuse or neglect, and ensure adults are safeguarded respecting their choices and control. Adhere to safeguarding and whistleblowing policies.
* Provide evidence of completed training.
* Follow fire procedures and health and safety legislation.
* Complete all required training.
