Murray Recruitment are recruiting an Internal Sales Executive for our client based in Lanarkshire
Role Overview:
This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-established and highly respected supplier within the industrial automation and electrical sector. As part of their internal sales team, you will be instrumental in managing key customer relationships, handling inbound enquiries, and supporting clients with tailored solutions across a broad product range. Working alongside technical specialists, your role will combine customer service, sales, and technical support to ensure a first-class client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and grow relationships with an existing client base.
* Prepare and issue quotations and advise on product availability.
* Liaise with manufacturers and wholesalers to source product solutions.
* Collaborate with the technical team to guide customers on product selection and new market offerings.
* Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell across all product lines.
* Negotiate pricing and secure sales.
* Deliver outstanding service, confidently handling both straightforward and challenging enquiries.
* Engage with customers via phone and email, ensuring clear and effective communication at all levels.
Skills & Experience:
* Experience in internal sales, account management, or telesales.
* Strong customer service skills and a proactive, confident telephone manner.
* Ability to build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders.
* Commercial awareness and a results-driven attitude.
* Technical knowledge or experience in the industrial or electrical sectors is advantageous.
* Comfortable asking probing questions to understand customer needs and deliver effective solutions.
Offering:
* Salary £28,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
* Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, flexible start between 8.30am and 9.00am.
* Office-based role.
* Annual bonus up to 7.5% of salary.
