Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Hackney, London
Remuneration: £22 per hour
Contract Details: 24th Nov - 20th Feb 2026
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and test electrical equipment including machinery controls, wiring, and lighting.
* Evaluate cost effectiveness, reliability, and safety of design models.
* Estimate time and costs for project completion.
* Simulate and test the operation of machines, structures, and systems.
* Investigate and assess vendors’ and competitors’ products.
Skills:
* Strong creativity and analytical problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Detail-oriented team player.
* Proficient in creating sketches and engineering drawings.
* Ability to perform detailed calculations for manufacturing and installation standards.
* Knowledge of electrical theory principles applicable to engineering projects.
* Familiarity with engineering design software and computer applications.
* Minimum 18th Edition City & Guilds
