Job Description: We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team in Northumberland as a Live In Care Care Professional. As a Live In Care Care Professional, you will live in a client's home and provide a variety of non-medical services to help them keep independent in their own home.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to individual dietary needs - Manage challenging behaviors with empathy and professionalism - Provide assistance with activities related to daily living - Collaborate with nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver quality care - Drive clients to appointments and outings as required - Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life - Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and toileting - Support individuals with assisted living, hospice care, and other specialised care needs - Perform heavy lifting when necessary
Additional information As a Live In Care Care Professional, you will be provided with 3 meals a day or an allowance from the client, a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi. In addition, we offer comprehensive training and support.
