Associate – IP / IT Life Sciences – Cambridge with hybrid working
Client

Role
1. Based in the Cambridge office and involves working with clients in various sectors, with a focus on life sciences and publishing sectors.
2. Provide business-oriented advice, acting for SMEs, larger PLCs, multi-national enterprises, start-ups, research institutes, charities, and spin-outs.
3. Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, providing a full range of IP, commercial, and regulatory advice to clients locally, across the UK, and internationally, including in the US.
4. Engage in business development activities.
5. Excellent training and career development opportunities within a collegiate environment.
You
1. 3+ years PQE.
2. The team sometimes acts as an external resource for overflow of in-house work; in-house experience can be helpful but is not required.
3. Will thrive on close client contact and will relish exposure to quality client interactions from the start.
4. Excellent academics combined with proven experience in intellectual property and commercial work are required; an interest in Life Sciences is desirable.
