Overview
Enercon Wind Turbine Technician for an expanding portfolio of Enercon turbines in Cornwall. Based within a commutable distance to Newquay; travel is required. This role is for a technician who is passionate about keeping turbines spinning smoothly, with opportunities to learn new skills and work on other technologies as the portfolio grows.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Mentor and train others on site, providing hands-on support and helping new technicians hit the ground running.
* Maintenance & Troubleshooting: perform scheduled maintenance and respond to call-outs; diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues; conduct thorough inspections and replace components when needed; log service reports and turbine performance records; ensure safety and compliance with industry standards.
* Keep customers informed on-site as the point of contact, building trust while keeping the turbines turning.
* Safety & Quality: follow safety protocols, ensure components and systems meet high standards for quality and reliability, and ensure safe operation of electrical and mechanical components.
* Improve and optimize: work with engineering and operations to boost turbine performance and efficiency using error and gap analysis, response times, and operational data; may remotely monitor turbines via control room.
What You’ll Need
* Experience: 3+ years with Enercon turbines or similar models; CT or AT acceptable.
* Expertise: strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
* Readiness: comfortable working in challenging conditions (heights, varying weather).
* License: valid driver’s license.
* Safety Savvy: strong understanding of safety regulations and industry standards.

* Cool under pressure with a positive, can-do attitude; keen problem-solver with attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality services.
* Collaborative and flexible, yet able to work independently.
