We are currently recruiting a dedicated and resilient SEN Learning Support Assistant to work in a supportive secondary/alternative provision setting in Camden, supporting students aged 11–19 with ASD, SEMH needs, and behavioural difficulties.
This role is particularly well suited to aspiring teachers, educational psychologists, youth workers, therapists, or behaviour specialists, as well as those with a strong interest in SEN and inclusive education.
The Role:
* Full-time SEN Learning Support Assistant position
* Based in a specialist, inclusive setting within the London Borough of Camden
* Supporting students aged 11–19 with ASD, SEMH, and behavioural needs
* Providing 1:1 and small group support inside and outside the classroom
* Assisting with emotional regulation, behaviour management, and engagement in learning
Ideal Candidate:
* A genuine passion for supporting young people with complex needs
* Calm, patient, and resilient approach to behaviour and emotional support
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN, SEMH, or behavioural needs (desirable but not essential)
* Able to commit to a full-time role in Camden
