Senior Field Services Engineer Salary: £40-45K DOE Location: West Midlands and East Benefits Excellent development opportunities Incentive scheme Life Assurance Employee assistance programme Key Responsibilities: Carry out routine servicing, fault diagnostics, and repairs on powered access machinery both in the workshop and on-site. Work with electric, diesel, and hybrid machines, performing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fault finding. Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDIs), LOLER examinations, and ensure all equipment is compliant with industry standards (PUWER, LOLER). Accurately complete job sheets, service records, and compliance documentation. Respond to breakdowns and provide expert-level support to resolve issues quickly and effectively. Mentor and train engineers, providing hands-on guidance, technical instruction, and support with day-to-day tasks. Act as a technical point of contact within the team for complex or unusual faults. Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and high standards of workmanship. Preferred Qualifications: CAP Certified (Competent Assessed Person) - IPAF NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering or similar IPAF 3a/3b Operator License Full UK driving license
