Overview
Epsom College is a co-educational day and boarding school with approximately 1100 pupils aged 11-18. The College is located approximately one mile from Epsom town, below Epsom Downs, on an 80 acre campus. Epsom College is looking for an Early Morning Domestic Assistant to join the team, 6am-8.30am Monday-Saturday throughout the year.

Responsibilities
* To ensure that all classrooms and common areas are cleaned according to work schedules and set standards.
* To ensure that all offices, meeting rooms, lecture theatre, stairwells and halls within your work area are cleaned according to work schedules and set standards.
* To maintain all washroom facilities in a hygienic condition according to set standards.
* To ensure that all floors are maintained to a high level of cleanliness and cleaned in accordance with set standards.
* To undertake deep-cleaning activities and any other periodic tasks as required.
* To ensure that cleaning storerooms are maintained in a tidy, safe and hygienic condition and appropriate chemicals and disposables stock levels are maintained.
* To carry out duties in line with the College’s safeguarding protocols and procedures.
* To ensure that COSHH regulations relating to any cleaning product are adhered to.
* To report all defects or maintenance requests to the Cleaning Supervisor.
* To maintain a co-operative relationship with staff, students and work colleagues within your area of responsibility.
* To assist in any other areas of the College as may be required.
* To attend all mandatory and relevant training as required by the Head of Facilities or designate.
* To undertake any other reasonable task as directed by the Head of Facilities or designate.
* To be aware of responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and to adhere to all relevant regulations (e.g., Fire Precautions, Manual Handling, COSHH).
* To be aware of the implications of strangers on campus and conscious of security responsibilities.
* To adopt a flexible approach to the role and undertake any other reasonable task as requested (e.g., support security duties/lock up and internal/external events).
