Job Title: Education Recruitment Consultant (Hot Secondary Desk)
Location: Birmingham (Solihull)
Salary: £40 - £50k per annum, with uncapped commission and benefits
Position: Permanent, full-time position
Empowering Learning are expanding our high-performing Birmingham team and are looking for an ambitious and motivated Secondary Consultant to join us and drive a high performing secondary desk. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven recruiter to further their career in a supportive, successful, and rewarding environment.
The individual must be able to put their all into working on a high-volume desk and giving the desk what it needs to grow further. This is a position that is demanding but highly rewarding for the right individual.
The Role
As a Secondary Education Recruitment Consultant, you will:
Build and maintain strong existing relationships with schools, candidates, and colleagues.
Manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to placing them in roles.
Proactively develop new business through sales activity and relationship building.
Work across a specialist sector - Primary, Secondary, or SEND - depending on your experience and interests.
Deliver an outstanding service to both candidates and clients, ensuring long-term partnerships.About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Experienced in recruitment (minimum 12 months) within education or sales-based recruitment.
Knowledgeable in Primary, Secondary, or SEND education recruitment (desirable).
Results-driven, resilient, and motivated to succeed.
Able to take over an established desk, maintaining and growing the business
A confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills.
Able to manage a busy desk, balancing client expectations and candidate care.
Qualified to drive with a full UK driving licence (essential).Why Join Us?
