SAP Public Cloud Solution Architect - Outside IR35 - 12 months
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Solution Architect to support a rapidly growing Public Cloud practice. This role is hands-on and delivery-focused, supporting Public Cloud Go-Live projects (not migrations).
The successful candidate will lead and run standard Public Cloud workshops, with a strong focus on Finance and integration with Salesforce-based event tracking tools, plus limited exposure to Procurement. This is not an SD or stock management role.
Due to multiple team members recently rolling off permanent engagements and further growth anticipated, additional architectural support is required to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as Solution Architect / Lead for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations
* Lead and facilitate standard Public Cloud workshops, particularly within Finance
* Design and advise on Finance-centric solutions, with some Procurement involvement
* Oversee and support integration with Salesforce (event tracking tools)
* Provide architectural leadership through Public Cloud Go-Live phases
* Ensure best-practice use of SAP Public Cloud standards (fit-to-standard mindset)
* Work closely with project teams to ensure solutions are delivery-ready from day one
* Hit the ground running with minimal ramp-up
Scope & Focus Areas:
In scope:
* SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud
* Finance (primary focus)
* Integration with Salesforce / event tracking tools
* Light Procurement involvement (finance-related)
Out of scope:
* SAP SD
* Stock / inventory management
* System migrations (no ECC ? S/4 migrations)
Required Experience & Skills:
* Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Lead on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud projects
* Strong functional and architectural knowledge of SAP Finance in Public Cloud
* Hands-on experience delivering Public Cloud Go-Live projects
* Solid understanding of SAP Public Cloud constraints, standards, and best practices
* Experience with Salesforce integrations (especially event-based tools)
* Ability to lead workshops and engage confidently with senior stakeholders
* Self-sufficient, delivery-focused, and able to add value immediately
