You possess at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in relevant fields, particularly in children’s social care, and are prepared to undertake complex care assessments, planning, and safeguarding procedures. What the Job Involves As a Social Worker within the Children’s Social Care team, you will manage a varied caseload, including Children in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children cases. You will conduct thorough assessments, collaborate with multi-agency partners, and formulate and monitor care plans. Operational duties include case prioritization, liaising with professionals, providing court evidence, and ensuring interventions improve children's outcomes. You will engage in strategic planning, help families in decision-making, and provide support for transitional periods while actively contributing to safeguarding and welfare promotion.
