What The Role Actually Involves
You’ll be setting, programming and operating CNC lathes using FANUC controls, producing precision components across a mix of work from one-off parts to medium-volume batches.
This is a practical, hands-on role where you’re trusted to:
* Set and program CNC lathes efficiently and accurately
* Select tooling and cutting parameters appropriate to the job
* Produce components to tight tolerances and quality standards
* Inspect and measure finished parts before release
* Communicate clearly between shifts to keep work flowing
There’s a strong focus on doing the job right, improving how things are done, and keeping the machine shop running smoothly.

You’ll Likely Be a Good Fit If You
* Are time-served or experienced as a CNC Turner
* Have strong experience with FANUC-controlled lathes
* Can confidently read and work from engineering drawings
* Understand tooling, cutting parameters and efficient setups
* Take pride in quality, accuracy and consistency
Hours
* Monday–Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
* Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm (early finish)
