This role ensures that the division operates efficiently, meets or exceeds budget expectations, and drives sustained profitability and innovation in a dynamic healthcare technology environment. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership • Oversee all operational aspects of the MedTech division, ensuring streamlined workflows and compliance with industry regulations (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485). • Develop, implement, and refine processes that enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability across the division. • Set and track operational KPIs and performance metrics aligned with company objectives. Team & Resource Management • Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, supply chain, logistics, and customer service. • Foster a high-performance culture with clear accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development. • Collaborate with HR to recruit and retain top operational talent within the division. Budgeting & Financial Performance • Create, manage, and exceed annual operating budgets and cost projections for the MedTech division. • Monitor financial performance, ensuring profitability targets are met or surpassed. • Implement cost-control measures and drive margin improvements without compromising quality or compliance. Strategic Planning & Execution • Contribute to long-term strategic planning for the MedTech division, ensuring alignment with company growth goals. • Identify and lead initiatives for operational excellence, including technology integration, automation, and vendor optimization. • Partner with R&D, Product, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to bring innovative medical technologies to market effectively. Compliance & Risk Management • Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety, and regulatory standards. • Oversee internal audits and implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain compliance. • Proactively manage operational risks and implement mitigation strategies. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred). • 10 years of progressive leadership experience in operations, preferably within the MedTech or healthcare sector. • Strong knowledge of medical device regulations and quality systems. • Demonstrated success in managing budgets, improving operational efficiency, and leading large teams. • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). • Lean Six Sigma certification. • Experience scaling operations in a high-growth MedTech environment. • Proven ability to manage change and drive transformation in complex organizations.
