Culturapedia is looking for a creative and hands-on PR & Marketing Coordinator to deliver impactful communications. This is a supportive role, ideal for someone who can balance creativity with organisation and enjoys bringing ideas to life. We are a small, close-knit team, so everyone mucks in across tasks as needed. The successful candidate will engage with audiences, promoters, and artists, gaining firsthand experience of cultural projects. Flexibility is essential, including the ability to be available for evenings, weekends, and to travel. You will serve as a Culturapedia representative at events, supporting artists and contributing to team efforts.

Culturapedia is an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation that ethically partners with artists, communities, local authorities, and other bodies in Lancashire, nationally, and internationally.
Our vision is to be the go-to company for engaging audiences in fabulous cultural offerings online, outdoors, or on their doorstep. Our mission is to put Lancashire on the cultural map. You will work across the organisation with a small team of producers and programmers, supporting all aspects of the company's operations, specifically ensuring that information is gathered, processed and shared.
Key Responsibilities
* Content Creation & Storytelling: Develop engaging stories about Culturapedia’s success for social media, press, and website.
* Write clear and compelling press releases, adapting tone of voice to different audiences.
* Create stakeholder and public-facing communications.
* Liaise with artists, stakeholders, and internal teams to coordinate content, deadlines, and campaign materials.
Design & Multimedia
* Design presentations, reports, and promotional materials (Canva preferred, but other tools are welcome if proven effective).
* Edit images and short videos for campaigns and events.
* Collaborate with external design agencies on major projects (e.g., brochures), ensuring brand consistency and quality.
Communication & Collaboration
* Support consistent brand messaging across all channels.
* Represent Culturapedia at events, engaging with audiences, artists, and promoters.
* Build and maintain strong communication with stakeholders, artists, and internal teams.
Event Support & Coordination
* Plan, organise, and manage marketing and PR assets, including budgeting, scheduling, and logistics.
* Attend “Spot On” and other events, interacting with audiences and supporting artists.
* Work collaboratively in a small team environment, taking initiative and helping with different tasks as needed.
* Capture post-event feedback, report outcomes, and support continuous improvement.
