As a Critical Services Shift Leader at Integral UK, you will work across a prominent client site in Canary Wharf.
Overview:
The Engineering Team Lead is part of the technical service team under contract, within the Operations team, based on-site.
Your responsibilities include providing technical support to the UK Portfolio, overseeing the control of works process, coordinating, planning, and monitoring sub-contract works, and ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion of tasks in compliance with client and JLL requirements.
Key duties involve:
1. Carrying out PPMs and reactive Helpdesk requests in line with SLAs.
2. Ensuring maintenance adheres to client and H&S procedures, including permit to work systems.
3. Monitoring environmental conditions and critical equipment.
4. Understanding operational protocols for alarms and backup systems.
5. Communicating building issues to end users, clients, and management.
6. Overseeing visiting contractors and supporting operational activities.
7. Managing work delivery, quality, and safety standards.
8. Meeting SLAs and PPM schedules.
9. Driving continuous improvement and skill development.
10. Providing health and safety information to contractors.
11. Inspecting work equipment and monitoring contractor compliance.
12. Ensuring safety training and competency development.
13. Supporting innovation and service improvement initiatives.
14. Reporting critical incidents and escalating issues as needed.
15. Applying risk-focused maintenance in critical environments.
16. Managing maintenance costs and ensuring service performance.
17. Leading and developing a service team to ensure efficient, safe operations.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
* City & Guilds or equivalent in Engineering, Building Services, or related fields.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in mechanical/electrical systems.
* Understanding of complex systems, drawings, and processes like Lotto and tag out.
* Knowledge of UPS, ELV systems, LV switching, and fire systems.
* Experience with MCCP panels, audits, and HSE standards.
