Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. You will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development and well-being of children in our nursery setting.
Duties
* Plan and implement engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children and their families.
* Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
* Manage daily routines, ensuring that all children receive appropriate care and attention.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster strong relationships within the nursery community.
* Collaborate with other educators to ensure a cohesive approach to early years education.
* Maintain accurate records of children's activities, progress, and any concerns regarding their welfare.
* Drive initiatives that promote positive behaviour and social skills among children.
Qualifications
* A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential.
* Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or educational setting is highly desirable.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a small team effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* A genuine passion for childcare and early childhood education, with an understanding of child development principles.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
* A commitment to creating an inclusive environment for all children regardless of their background or abilities.
