Administration Assistant Tewkesbury
We currently have a vacancy for an Admin Assistant at our Tewkesbury Depot. The working week will be Wednesday to Friday 10:00 - 17:00
Roberts Express Delivery (RED) is a Tewkesbury based transport company with nearly years of experience in Same Day, Multi-drop deliveries, with Storage facilities and garage workshop.
The job will involve scanning, logging and monitoring of all customer Proof of Deliveries (PODs) in line with company procedures and strict customer deadlines. To liaise directly with our drivers and businesses with regard to POD requests as well as direct administration function for all RED documentation.
You will need to ensure that effective, open and proactive communication is maintained at all times and response times to customers on all customer service matters are timely and professional. You will ensure all work on the daily transport system is completed accurately - ready for passing on to the accounts department for invoicing.
To be successful in this role you will need to be computer literate with a good understanding of word and excel; have a methodical approach to your work; have excellent communication and customer skills; and have an ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
Experience of working in a similar administrative role would be preferred but would suit somebody with initiative and a willingness to learn.
You will also, ideally, be able to drive our vans and, from time to time, make local collections when required.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary with 21 days holiday (+ bank holidays)
