About The Role The Digital & Motion Designer is a hands-on role focused on designing and iterating high-performing paid social advertising and digital assets that drive growth across channels. While performance marketing will be a key focus, you’ll also contribute to digital design across our broader brand ecosystem – including email, onsite content, and campaign creative. You’ll report to the Head of Creative and collaborate closely with the Marketing, Ecommerce, and Digital teams to deliver impactful creative that converts – balancing commercial goals with elevated, on-brand design. Working iteratively, you’ll test, learn, and refine creative to optimise performance. From concepting scroll-stopping ad visuals and motion graphics for social, to editing short-form videos and producing digital content for campaigns and always-on activity, you’ll help shape the future of our brand presence online. You’ll be part of a small but mighty creative team in a business that’s growing fast. We encourage experimentation, agility, and innovation – giving you the space to test ideas, develop new skills, and make your mark in a brand with big digital ambitions. Some of your key responsibilities will include: Design and deliver digital advertising assets across paid platforms, creating visually engaging and high-performing creative for social, search, and display campaigns. Create performance-optimised visuals for acquisition and remarketing campaigns, focusing on scroll-stopping creative and conversion-driving design. Develop motion content, including simple animations, product demos, and short-form video edits for social, paid, and organic use. Work closely with our Performance Marketing agency to A/B test creative, analyse outcomes, and iterate designs based on performance data. Contribute to wider digital design projects across other key channels – such as email, onsite content, and brand campaigns – ensuring creative consistency and impact across all digital touchpoints. Support on digital-first campaigns, from initial ideas through to execution across multiple platforms, adapting creative for each channel’s unique audience and format. Collaborate with the wider design team to evolve templates, optimise workflows, and maintain brand consistency across all digital outputs. Apply design thinking and UI/UX principles to enhance digital experiences, balancing creative flair with commercial effectiveness. Stay curious about emerging design trends, tools, and technologies – especially AI and motion design software –to enhance creative output and efficiency. About You We’re ideally looking for someone with: 2 years’ professional experience in digital design (agency or in-house). A strong understanding of digital advertising and social content design. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects or Premiere Pro for video editing). Basic skills or strong interest in motion design, animation, and video editing for social content. An understanding of performance marketing principles – what makes ads perform, test-and-learn approaches, and creative optimisation. Excellent attention to detail and a passion for producing polished, high-quality work at pace. A collaborative approach with strong communication skills and a growth mindset. Interest in AI design tools and automation for creative workflows. Knowledge or interest of hair, beauty, or fashion trends and digital consumer behaviour. Familiarity with Figma or other collaborative design platforms would be a great advantage. Whilst the above describes the type of person we’re looking for, we have great training and development capabilities, so even if you don’t tick every point, we’d still love to hear from you. What’s On Offer We believe great work deserves great rewards. Alongside a competitive salary, you’ll enjoy a range of benefits designed to support your wellbeing, growth, and lifestyle: A collaborative and innovative culture where you can be your authentic self, thrive creatively, and grow professionally.
