Our client has proudly served the Midlands for over 60 years, delivering a comprehensive range of liquid fuels to homes, businesses, and farms. They are now seeking a professional and safety-conscious Class 2 ADR Tank Driver to join their growing team.
Location: Midlands (Leicestershire & Northampton)
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: £16.45 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely and efficiently deliver liquid fuels to domestic, agricultural, and commercial customers.
* Operate and maintain a Class 2 HGV with ADR-certified tank equipment.
* Ensure full compliance with health & safety, road transport, and environmental regulations.
* Maintain accurate delivery documentation and adhere to company protocols.
* Provide excellent customer service on every delivery.
* Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects as per company procedures.
Requirements:
* Valid Class 2 HGV Licence
* Driver CPC Qualification
* Minimum 2 years’ experience driving a goods vehicle
* Minimum 5 years overall driving experience
* Strong understanding of health and safety practices
* Good geographical knowledge of the Midlands area (advantageous)
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Petroleum Driver Passport (PDP) preferred (training can be provided)
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday shifts
* Occasional Saturday work and essential overtime
