Location: Church Stretton
Hours: 7 per week (Flexible for 1 day per week)
Contract: Fixed term for 6 months
Salary: £22,932 per annum based on 35 hours per week

What does a day in the life of a Shop Assistant involve?
* Assisting the shop manager to run a customer-focused shop that is the 'window of the British Red Cross' on the high street.
* Helping to create a welcoming shopping environment and providing excellent customer service.
* Working confidently on the shop floor, being the first point of contact for customers, operating the till, and creating displays.
* Sorting stock and preparing items for display behind the scenes.
What does it take to be a successful Shop Assistant?
* Previous retail experience and confidence in handling money.
* Strong communication skills and a passion for excellent customer service.
* A commercial mindset with an understanding of hitting targets.
* An ability to anticipate and meet customer needs to provide delightful service.
