Castlefield are partnering with a well-established Cheshire-based Public Sector organisation, in order to recruit a Financial Planning Lead into their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact within a reputable organisation during a time of growth and development. The role operates on a hybrid model (up to 4 days p/w from home) and has flexible working arrangements.
Duties include;
1. Leadership of financial planning, development, and treasury operations
2. Ownership and development of 30-year business plan
3. Perform scenario modelling to assess impacts on covenants and align financial planning with the long-term strategic direction
4. Collaborate with the development team and senior stakeholders to integrate updates in development programs
5. Prepare and present reports to senior leadership
6. Lead on cashflow management, and support loan forecasting and drawdowns
7. Prepare regulatory returns
Requirements;
8. Qualified Accountant (would consider those without qualification, based on experience)
9. Ability to build influential relationships at senior level
10. Highly analytical and strategic with the ability to manipulate large datasets
11. Leadership experience
