This is a very important and varied role where you will set machines to produce customer specification products. Once you are fully trained and familiarised in setting the machines in the section, you may be given the opportunity to learn how to set machines.
Your working hours are 37 per week, which are worked over various rotating shift patterns Monday to Thursday, including possible night shifts.
Your main tasks & responsibilities:
Producing goods and carrying out inspections in accordance with works orders
Meeting quality standards
Weighing products accurately
Setting machine using correct tooling
Liaising with Technical and Quality departments
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to read and understand production drawings
Some experience in a factory environment
Ability to work as part of a team and also independently
Flexible and willing to work in various shifts patterns
Drive and passion to produce a quality product
