Overview
You’ll be a part of our Asset Management team, whose overarching purpose is to ensure our tenants live in well‑maintained and safe homes. The Asset Management team is responsible for providing an excellent repairs and maintenance service, managing around 7,000 properties across Preston, Fylde and South Ribble. This role supports the delivery of CGA’s sustainability strategy by contributing to projects that improve energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions and strengthen sustainable housing initiatives. You will ensure effective systems and processes are in place to manage sustainability elements of contracts, oversee grant‑funded programmes to achieve energy performance targets and work with managers across the organisation to provide sustainability advice and guidance.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver repairs and maintenance service to our tenants.
* Support the delivery of CGA’s sustainability strategy by contributing to projects that improve energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions and strengthen sustainable housing initiatives.
* Ensure effective systems and processes are in place to manage sustainability elements of contracts.
* Oversee grant‑funded programmes to achieve energy performance targets.
* Work with managers across the organisation to provide sustainability advice and guidance.
Qualifications
* Good knowledge of sustainability principles and climate change issues.
* Qualified to, or willing to work towards, a degree or equivalent level qualification related to sustainability.
* Full driving licence and a vehicle with business insurance to travel locally as required.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role with experience of research, data analysis, or project work in relation to sustainability.
