Duties:
10. Surface preparation including sanding, filling, and priming to ensure smooth, even surfaces.
11. Colour matching with precision to ensure seamless colour compatibility for classic vehicles
12. Setting up and calibrating painting equipment for optimal results
13. Masking and taping non-paintable areas with accuracy
14. Applying paint using various techniques to achieve flawless finishes
15. Inspecting painted surfaces and performing touch-ups as necessary
16. Performing detailing work such as pinstriping or special finishes
17. Adhering to safety protocols and environmental regulations
18. Collaborating with restoration team members for smooth project execution
19. Maintaining accurate records of paint mixtures, colours, and techniques.
20. Staying updated with the latest in automotive painting technology and techniques
Requirements for this Paint Sprayer position:
21. A minimum of five years’ experience in automotive spray painting, specifically with classic cars.
22. Proven ability to deliver high-quality paint finishes on vintage and classic vehicles
23. Strong skills in surface preparation, filler work, and colour matching.
24. Knowledge of solvent-based paint systems and finishing techniques
25. Ability to work meticulously on detailed restoration projects
26. Good communication skills to liaise with team members and clients
27. Ability to work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and attention to detail.
