This is an excellent opportunity to join the Performance Reporting and Controls Team, supporting how programmes are monitored, governed, and reported across SYMCA. You will play an important role in ensuring high-quality information is available to support decision‑making and effective programme delivery.
Performance reporting, data analysis and evidence based decision making
* Proven knowledge of analysing complex data and content, with strong analytical and problem solving skills to support evidence based decision making.
* Demonstrable experience in the effective use of digital tools (ie. PowerBi) to produce performance data, support service enhancement, and improve data quality.
Collaborative working, attention to detail, working on initiative
* Knowledge of programme planning, monitoring approaches and controls.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating strong attention to detail alongside influencing and negotiation skills.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, able to work independently and to deadlines.
Interviews for this role are expected to be single stage and to take place on Tuesday 16th June.
About the role
As a Programme Information and Reporting Officer, you will play a key role in coordinating and reporting programme performance across the organisation. You will produce clear, accurate, and insightful reports and analysis for a broad range of stakeholders, supporting informed decision‑making at senior levels.
You will be responsible for managing and maintaining reporting systems and tools, ensuring that programme data is accurate, accessible, and aligned with governance and audit requirements. This includes developing effective dashboards and reporting processes, supporting statutory and performance reporting, and contributing to the continuous improvement of management information systems.
Working collaboratively with colleagues and partners, you will help drive the continuous improvement of business processes and promote best practice in information management and reporting. You will also support governance activity by coordinating reporting cycles, contributing to decision‑making processes, and ensuring compliance with organisational frameworks and standards.
About you
You are highly organised and analytical, with experience working with complex data and producing clear, meaningful reports. You are confident working with a range of digital tools and systems to interrogate and present information effectively.
You have strong communication skills, able to present complex information in a clear and concise way for different audiences, including senior stakeholders. You are comfortable managing multiple priorities, working to deadlines, and using your initiative to resolve issues.
You are a collaborative team player who builds strong working relationships across teams and with external partners. You are committed to continuous improvement and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in everything you produce.
