Role Overview
Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea (RBKC) is seeking an experienced Oracle Systems Admin Manager to lead the governance, performance, stability, and operational management of the Oracle Fusion platform. This is a critical role ensuring the reliability, security, and continuous improvement of core enterprise systems.
The successful candidate will act as the Oracle System Administration Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing technical leadership, managing incidents and change, overseeing suppliers, and ensuring high service performance across the organisation.
Key Requirements (Essential)
* Strong Oracle Fusion HCM experience, particularly transitioning to Oracle Absence Case Management solutions for statutory absences
* Local Authority / Public Sector experience
* Proven experience leading Oracle platform governance, system administration, and service delivery
* Strong stakeholder management and leadership capability
Key Responsibilities
* Lead strategic governance, configuration, and optimisation of the Oracle Fusion platform
* Ensure system performance, scalability, resilience, and high availability
* Oversee incident, problem, change, and release management in line with ITIL best practices
* Implement proactive monitoring across logs, metrics, and alerts to prevent system failures
* Manage external managed service providers and ensure SLA compliance
* Provide senior stakeholder communication, escalation management, and reporting
* Ensure robust documentation, configuration management, and system governance
* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing system administration team
* Produce strategic performance and incident reporting to inform senior leadership
