Overview
As a Deputy Home Manager, you'll be making sure the level of clinical care we offer goes beyond just professional standards and statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements. This means providing specialist nursing support and advice, taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager's absence, and supervising/coaching colleagues to provide a service that's unparalleled in its empathy for resident issues.
Responsibilities
Provide specialist nursing support and advice; take responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager's absence; supervise and coach colleagues to deliver a service that shows empathy for resident issues; manage time effectively and keep meaningful records; communicate with residents and co-workers in a considerate and kind manner.
Requirements
HC-One is looking for a Deputy Home Manager with a valid NMC Pin, knowledge of National Standards, and the NMC code of practice. Experience with person-centred care planning within a care home is preferred. You should demonstrate a positive energy and an ability to get along with people, act as a great mentor, and maintain clear, meaningful records.
