They will be provided with good induction training and will be well supported and offered regular supervision.
This is a good stepping stone post to a doctorate Clinical Psychology application.

1. You will be joining Rushcliffe Care, a company with over 35 years of experience in offering the highest levels of care to our most vulnerable in society.
2. Providers of specialist care and rehabilitative treatments for over 100 service users in a variety of location and facilities.

We are a Specialist Health Care providers of rehabilitation/treatments to adults with Acquired Brain Injuries such as: Traumatic brain injuries and Strokes, to Mental Health patients with severe and complex needs, and diagnoses such as Depression and Schizophrenia, and to people living with Dementia such as Alzheimer’s or Lewy Body. The post involves working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and supporting their work under the supervision of our Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist.
About Mill Lodge Hospital
Mill Lodge is a specialist mental health service providing care and treatment for adults with complex mental health needs. The service focuses on recovery, rehabilitation, and quality of life, supporting individuals through structured therapeutic interventions and a strong multidisciplinary approach.
All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check, the cost of which is covered by Rushcliffe Care and satisfactory references.
The Role
4. We are recruiting high quality, well-motivated post-graduate psychologists (2:1 degree or above in psychology) for Assistant Psychologist post at Mill Lodge Hospital.
5. The post will be full time for 37.5 hours per week.
6. Assessment, treatments, writing reports, undertaking behavioural analysis of patients/clients with complex conditions under the direct supervision of our Consultant Clinical and Neuropsychologist.
7. This work will be undertaken as part of our multi-disciplinary team in the assessment planning and delivery of rehabilitation for our clients.
8. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal communication skills and have good team working abilities, be able to demonstrate high level IT skills, have good literacy skills, be able to manage his/her own time and to be self-motivated and flexible. They should have a ‘Can do attitude’. A full driving license would be preferable.
About You
9. 1-year voluntary/paid work experience relevant to the field of Psychology is essential.
10. A 2:1 or above Psychology degree recognised by the British Psychology Society (BPS) is essential.
11. It is desirable to have further qualification/s e.g. relevant MSc.
12. It is desirable to be a graduate member of the British Psychological Society.
13. Candidates who can demonstrate learning from experience of working with patients/ clients using therapeutic approaches, working with challenging behaviour/s, and using rehabilitation techniques would be encouraged to apply, particularly if gained in a previous Assistant Psychologist post.
