Ensure all statutory records are kept up to date and available for inspection.
Be aware of and have good working understanding and practical hands-on input regarding control of legionella and associated required works.
Key Responsibilities:
* Water hygiene checks - L8 checks
* Emergency lighting checks
* Daily, weekly and monthly PPM checks
* Basic electrics depending upon qualifications (competency)
* Clearing and tidying up of common areas, plant rooms, store rooms etc
* Repairing safety hazards
* Installation of appliances and machines
* Liaison with contractors and suppliers (control of permits, escorting duties, managing safety)
* Managing deliveries of items
* Attend reactive breakdowns actively triaging intervention or sub contractor call outs
* Complete/ assist completion of PPM regimes
* Monitor stock and start ordering procedure
* Ensure all records are up-to-date
* Meter readings
Escalate Health & Safety, Environmental and Operational issues and incidents as required by the escalation procedure.
Assist the Site Team in the production of a monthly report and action plan to monitor progress against targets.
Be a proactive member of the team, with a hands-on approach and positive attitude, working with the Site FM to ensure first class TFM service delivery.
Requirements:
We're looking for a multi skilled engineer but they need some plumbing experience. Ideally, a Mechanical, Gas and Plumbing Engineer.
Equipment and Duties:
Equipment and day to duties include but not limited to: Pumps, Compressors, Chillers, Dryers.
