Faculty Support Assistant

(English, Maths and Humanities)

37 hours a week (5 days)

Term time only - 39 wks per year (including Staff Development Days)

Kent Range 7, Point 21 – 25 (£29,167 to £30,934 pa)

Pro rata to £25,538.63 pa to £27,085.81 pa

A professional and adaptable person is required to work with teachers and other support staff within the English, Maths and Humanities faculties, to promote the learning and welfare of students by providing practical teaching, learning and administrative support.

Our ideal candidate needs to be confident, well-organised, able to work independently and meet deadlines. They should also have an enthusiasm for, and a good knowledge of, the curriculum and GCSE specifications for each subject.

The successful applicant must:

1. Have good interpersonal and communication skills to liaise and communicate effectively with staff and students.
2. Flexible approach to duties and ability to act on own initiative.
3. Able to work effectively under pressure.
4. Demonstrate professional integrity and strict adherence to protocols.
5. Hold a good attendance and punctuality record.
