Job Overview
An opportunity for a highly motivated Planning and Resource Manager within Property Services to support Maintenance and Contracts teams across South Lanarkshire. The successful applicant will manage all aspects of Plant & Transport and Stores facilities, supporting over 600 staff and ensuring safe and efficient delivery of Building Services across multiple locations.
Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of Plant & Transport and Stores facilities, ensuring requirements align with service needs and operating within allocated budgets and timescales.
* Represent Building Services Health & Safety groups and oversee non‑housing maintenance programmes for schools, offices, leisure centres and other sites.
* Plan, organise and safely deliver varied trades, monitoring and reporting on Fleet, Stores, Plant and planned maintenance programmes to meet statutory KPIs and maximise client satisfaction.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives within teams, evaluating and developing business cases for changes or additional investments.
* Ensure compliance with all legislative, statutory and key performance indicators.
Qualifications & Experience
* Strong experience in planning, efficient use of resources and budget management.
* Track record delivering projects on time and within budget.
* Leadership experience to manage people, processes and resources for continuous improvement.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety practices within Building Services.
* Demonstrated ability to meet statutory KPIs and maximise client satisfaction.
Location & Hours
East Kilbride Business Unit – 35 hours per week, Permanent.
Remuneration
£54,783 – £59,991 per year.
