Your role at Clorox:
As the Senior FP&A Analyst for the Europe business unit, you will manage the creation, reporting, and reconciliation of the annual financial forecasting process. Working closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams, you will develop insightful plans focused on sales growth, gross margin expansion, and operating profit maximization.
This role collaborates on financial initiatives including customer and product profitability, inventory analysis, pricing, innovation, and seasonal marketing. Skills required include advanced Excel and financial modelling, team building, influencing, project management, curiosity, and independence.
This position reports to the Senior FP&A Manager, Europe, with no direct reports.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, create, and present the financial forecast for Europe.
2. Build monthly volume forecasts with granularity at brand, SKU, channel, and customer levels.
3. Convert volume forecasts into sales forecasts considering FX, pricing, channel mix, and new product launches.
4. Track targets by brand and channel.
5. Gather insights on cost drivers from budget owners.
6. Develop investment budgets into the forecast.
7. Manage forecasting systems and update hierarchies.
8. Create Tax P&L and transfer pricing.
1. Create monthly/quarterly reporting packs to provide financial insights.
2. Coordinate with accounting for month-end and quarter-end closing activities.
3. Publish KPI-focused financial reports monthly.
4. Work with finance and budget owners to analyze variances and implications.
5. Collaborate with the AMEA finance team on roll-up and ad hoc queries.
1. Conduct financial analyses including product/customer P&Ls, innovation, and pricing initiatives.
2. Create and present insights to support data-driven decisions.
3. Develop P&Ls for new business opportunities and scenarios.
4. Represent finance in cross-functional teams for innovation launches.
1. Support finance system transformation, managing reconciliation during transition and supporting SAP S/4 Hana.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years in finance/accounting, with at least 3 in FP&A.
* Strong understanding of internal controls and experience in control improvements.
* Preferably experience in multinational FMCG, eCommerce, and online trade.
Skills:
* Proficiency in financial systems like NetSuite ERP, Concur, Anaplan.
* Knowledge of reporting tools such as SAP Frior, SAC, AFO.
* Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
Education:
* Degree in Business, Finance, Economics.
* Professional certification (CIMA/CGMA).
* Postgraduate degree (MBA) beneficial.
Physical and Mental Requirements:

* Ability to prioritize, influence, and work cross-functionally.
* Flexible and solution-oriented mindset.
