ROLE: Warehouse & Logistics Manager
START: ASAP
CONTRACT: Permanent, full-time
LOCATION: Bolton, Greater Manchester
REPORTS TO: Operations Director

We are expanding our team and seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Manager to join us. If you’re a logistics expert with leadership skills, this is your opportunity to oversee the movement of our beer from brewery to bar — safely, efficiently, and with excellence.
The role:
As our Warehouse & Logistics Manager, you will ensure the smooth, effective, and safe storage and delivery of our products. Leading a small team and optimizing routes across London, your goal is to ensure our products arrive on time, in full, and in perfect condition.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, mentor, and manage warehouse staff and drivers
* Oversee stock control, ensuring FIFO practices and accurate inventory (Breww)
* Plan and optimize delivery routes across London
* Manage third-party contractors and shipping partners
* Promote health & safety compliance in all operations
* Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and integrity
* Conduct weekly stock counts and monitor stock levels to prevent out-of-stock situations
* Support team development in collaboration with HR
* Drive performance using KPIs and process improvements
About you:
You are an organized, adaptable leader who thrives under operational challenges and can prioritize effectively. You are hands-on, calm under pressure, and proficient with systems and technology.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in warehouse or logistics management
* Strong leadership and team development skills
* Knowledge of stock control and routing logistics
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Comfortable with IT systems and reporting tools
* Proactive, safety-conscious, and focused on process improvement
