We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to join a technology driven SaaS company on a permanent basis. This opportunity will be joining a strong team and You’ll be a vital contributor to the technical support team, tasked with maintaining the smooth performance of our software applications.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide prompt and effective technical support via email, phone, and ticketing systems.
* Investigate and diagnose issues, identify root causes, and deliver timely solutions to minimise downtime.
* Maintain a strong understanding of the organisation’s software applications, including functionality, architecture, and integrations.
* Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Keep users and stakeholders informed throughout the resolution process and maintain accurate support documentation.
* Collaborate with development teams to escalate and prioritise bugs, feature requests, and product enhancements.
* Identify opportunities to improve support processes, tools, and systems.
* Review recurring issues and implement long-term fixes to prevent repeat problems.
* Respond to user support requests, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to high customer satisfaction.
* Provide training and guidance to help clients use the software effectively and maximise value.
* Ensure compliance with data security and organisational standards
Key Skills & Experience
* Experience supporting MS SQL databases
* Proven background in application support, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues.
* Strong understanding of SQL/MySQL databases
* Experience with Ticketing Systems
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Customer-focused mindset
* Knowledge/Experience of APIs

This role offers hybrid working out of their office based in Egham, with 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.
