The Opportunity: A nurturing and inclusive primary school in Oxford is seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Teacher to join their team in September 2025. Key Responsibilities: * Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons that meet the developmental needs of Nursery-aged children, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. * Create a welcoming, safe, and nurturing classroom environment that supports children's emotional and social development, encouraging independence and exploration. * Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to parents and carers, and working to address individual learning needs. * Collaborate with other teachers, teaching assistants, and school leadership to ensure continuity and consistency in the delivery of the EYFS curriculum. * Establish positive relationships with children, parents, and carers, providing support and guidance as needed. * Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities, school events, and ongoing professional development. Person Specification: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant recognised teaching qualification in Early Years education. * In-depth knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and experience in teaching Nursery-aged children. * Strong understanding of child development and the ability to create an inclusive, stimulating, and safe learning environment. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. * A commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education and continuously improving professional practice. * Experience of assessing children's progress and providing targeted support to meet individual learning needs.
