Communications Lead (Research Culture)

The University of Bath is committed to an ambitious action plan to continually improve our research culture. As Communications Lead for Research Culture, you’ll be right at the heart of supporting change – planning, delivering and evaluating high‑quality communications that enable key projects within the new Research Culture Action Plan to realise their planned benefits.

You could be involved in designing and delivering comms to embed new responsible research assessment practices, support dignity and respect initiatives, promote engagement with open research, or raise awareness of ways to improve recognition for historically under‑recognised staff.

You

* will have experience designing, delivering and evaluating results‑focussed communications campaigns
* can manage projects involving multiple stakeholders to successful completion
* have a strategic eye, but like getting stuck into delivery
* are motivated by the idea of making a positive difference to the culture that our research‑related staff and students experience
* are interested in the details, capturing the important nuances in messages while still making them engaging for their intended audience

You’ll have the chance to work with diverse groups of experts & stakeholders across the university and use your creativity to move the dial on the cultural changes that matter most to our community. You may also have an insight into higher education or research‑related environments in other sectors.
